Miss American Scholar strives to encourage all delegates to become active participants in their communities through various acts of service and kindness.

Included in every delegate's entry fee includes the B.R.A.V.E. America Community Service Kit, which provides delegates the opportunity to spread the message of B.R.A.V.E. America in their communities.

Delegates are asked to organize their own B.R.A.V.E. America events in their community which will earn hours towards the Presidential Volunteer Service Award and the Miss American Scholar Community Service Award.
